Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia president Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir brings along a line-up of royal descendants to a PAS ceramah at Parit 16, Sg Besar last night.

He introduces Ikatan vice-president Tunku Muinuddin Putra Tunku Nerang Putra, who is the grandson of Malaysia’s founding father Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj.

He also brings along Ikatan information chief Tunku Prof Fauzi Tunku Abdul Malek, grand nephew of Tunku Abdul Rahman.

This is while PAS candidate Dr Abdul Rani Osman is absent, as he has a breaking of fast function with the sultan of Selangor in Shah Alam.

In his speech, Kadir extols the virtues of Tunku Abdul Rahman and the founding fathers of Umno, having started his political career in 1956 as an Umno Youth branch leader in Kedah.

While introducing Kadir, the emcee, Sungai Besar PAS information chief Sallehudin Baharom, tells the crowd of about 40 people that a vote for PAS will gain them reward in the afterlife as it is a vote to strengthen the Syariah court.
