BN candidate for the by-election Sungai Besar, Budiman Mohd Zohdi and Selangor Umno chairman, Tan Sri Noh Omar, who was campaigning had stopped at the scene for a donation of RM10,000.
During the incident, the muezzin in respect Musolli Resad, 63, with his wife and daughter were in the mosque preparing tarawih prayer as a preparation to welcome Ramadan.
Fire received a call at 9pm rushed to the scene and arrived about 10 minutes later and managed to control the fire.
However, nearly 70 percent of the house was on fire dikatan and losses estimated at RM300,000.

Two fire engines from Sungai Besar and Sabak Bernam with an ambulance with 14 members managed to extinguish the fire completely before 10pm.
